All About Me

 This is a picture of me. I have just moved to a place called Tabora, in the middle of nowhere. I have lived in Tanzania all my life.  My brother and sister are going to boarding school in Moshi soon. I am going to be doing home school with my mum as my teacher because I’m not so keen on boarding. There are many great and not great things about Tabora. The great things are that we’ve got a swimming pool, the Africans are really friendly, and there’s a dam about 10 minutes drive away. Ben and Amelia (My brother and sister; Bens nearly 16 and Amelia’s 13) are going to learn how to drive in my mum’s old car, I have got to watch out! The not so great things about Tabora are I will miss my friends awfully and Ben and Amelia when they go to boarding school, We can’t get some of the things that we could get in Arusha, and when we want to go to visit our friends in Arusha we have to drive about 13 hours! When we first came to Tabora I was quite shocked because all I saw was bush, bush, and more bush. The airport was tiny and the only airplane we saw was the one that we had landed in. But after a while I got used to it. I also got used to the fact that we have to save the water and have a 3 minute shower and wear the same clothes for about a week. Me and mum often go the market and the little Duka. Its funny because we can get these wonderful treats in the duka but when you ask for the most simple things such as flour they saw “sorry we don’t have any.” Also the things in Tabora a lot more expensive then the things in Arusha. One very great about Tabora is going to the Market. I love going to the Market because all the Africans are very friendly . Well that is about all you have to know about Tabora.
